The 12th IIFA Awards 2011 weekend will be organised in North America for the first time, from June 23-25. National Games Organising Committee (NGOC) has announced names of the famous bollywood stars who will going to attend the opening and closing ceremonies of the 34th National Games, the newly joined event management committee Cineyug have refused to disclose the names of the stars saying that finalization of names is depends on approval of dates of each celeb. The event managers promised to appoint the A-grade cine stars for the opening and closing ceremonies at additional cost, while Katrina has been finalized to attend the closing ceremony,
the star for the opening ceremony is yet to be decided, said by special secetary sports and NGOC spokesperson Nitin Madan Kulkarni. A representative of Cineyug Entertainment, Sandeep Chavan has been managing the affairs related to the Games. He has refused to disclose the name of the bollywood stars who's going to attend the ceremony, first he need to confirm the dates with the stars.

First Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) took place at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai,in a grand way. The evening was graced with the lively presence of the big names of the Indian Film Industry. The grand event witnessed the presence of renowned people from the music and the screen world.

Presence of Legendary nightingale Lata Mangeshkar added four stars to the event, she was honoured with GIMA’s first Lifetime Achievement Award. The stage was graced with the shine of the celebrities from the world of the music like A.R. Rahman,Salim-Suleiman Merchant, Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Mahadevan and Shantanu Moitra. But the attraction of the event were nightingale Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle, they filled the atmosphere with new energy.

Music Director Uttam Singh and Loy Mendonca came together on one stage. Other big names graced the event were Sunidhi Chauhan, Pt. Vishva Mohan Bhatt, Sophie Choudhary, Ustad Rashid Khan, Gulshan Grover and Sonu Sood. Newcomer Arjan Bajwa and Sonakshi Sinha made their ravishing presence, Sonu Nigam, Bhushan Kumar, Divya Dutta, Hariharan, Kailash Kher and Rajkumar Hirani were also seen at the event. It is worthwhile mentioning here that, newcomer Sonakshi Sinha has made her Bollywood debut with the movie 'Dabangg' wherein she shared the screen space with Macho Man of the Indian Film Industry, Salman Khan. The flick was his home production which was produced by his brother Arbaaz Khan who played the role of his step brother in the movie.

Newcomer, Sonakshi Sinha is a proud daughter of famous actor of the Indian Film Industry, Shatrughan Sinha. Her movie 'Dabanng' has done a record business at the box office it has left far behind another blockbuster of the year '3-Idiots' far behind as far as collections are concerned. Another newcomer of the Indian Film Industry, Arjan Bajwa appeared in the movie 'Crook', he played the role of a bad boy. The movie starred Emraan Hashmi and Neha Sharma in the lead roles, it was produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Directed by Mohit Suri. Arjan also appeared in the movies like 'Fashion' with Priyanka Chopra and 'Guru' with Junior Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan. The movie was a blockbuster hit and was a turning in Abhishek's career.

Special screening of 'Golmaal 3' for Mumbai Cops

A big buzz in the Bollywood is that, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan organised an exclusive screening of his latest block buster 'Golmaal 3' for Mumbai Cops. The special screening was held at a theatre in Mumbai. Entire cast and crew of the movie were present to add four stars to the event.

It is worthwhile mentioning here that, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is a brand ambassador of Mumbai Police's 'Jagrut Mumbai' campaign, so he thought of a special screening of his comic caper 'Golmaal-3' to entertain the Mumbai Police. The movie is a pure comedy and it is a sequel of the block buster hit of the year 2008 'Golmaal Returns ' which was directed by famous Director of Bollywood town, Rohit Shetty.

Sources says that, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan wished to keep a special screening of 'Golmaal 3' for the Mumbai Police. Presently he is in London so he was not able to attend the special screening of his movie, however he requested the director, Rohit Shetty to attend this exclusive event on his behalf. Sources further adds that, Rohit attended the special screening of his comedy along with his super hit gang which includes Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever and Kunal Khemu. Ajay also wanted the Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Rajnish Seth to come and add four stars to the event but he could not turn up due to his prior working commitments.

'Golmaal 3' stars a majority of the actors from the previous film, including Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warshi, Shreyas Talapde and Tusshar Kapoor.The film's music has been composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Kumaar. Its sound track was released on 8 October 2010 and the movie hit the theatres November 5, 2010. Presently, Ajay Devgan is looking forward for his most expected upcoming project 'Toonpur Ka Superhero' wherein he is going to share the screen space with his wife and Bollywood actress, Kajol.
